DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal fillers are made from advanced Hyaluronic Acid, a form of sugar that naturally occurs in the body to aid the repair of damaged tissue.

Fillers can be applied to the face to add volume, plump wrinkles and lift jowls, recreating the softness and shape of younger skin and rejuvenating your face.  A popular non-surgical solution for ageing skin that has lost structure as collagen that previously helped shape and support it, has disappeared.

The high levels of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) have the effect of attracting and retaining water, instantly improving the skin’s appearance by restoring its natural volume. HA is a natural ingredient found in the body but diminishes as we age.

Over time, our skin naturally loses fatty tissue and collagen, resulting in a gradual loss of volume.  Fillers are popular with those seeking a quick, non-surgical solution for ageing skin that has lost volume or to increase the size or redefine the lips.  They can also fill our facial hollows to recreate the smooth contours of younger skin, giving a more youthful appearance.

Doctor and Patient

SAFE & EFFECTIVE TREATMENTS

Originally used to treat muscular conditions, and now among the most well-known cosmetic treatments, Botox® is a natural, highly purified protein.  Botox contains botulinum toxin type A, a neurotoxin.  Present in extremely small doses, this toxin inhibits the nerve stimulation of muscles by preventing nerves from releasing a chemical call acetylcholine.

As we get older, our skin loses its elasticity and the contractions of our facial muscles creates creases and lines, leaving our appearance with expression contours and wrinkles.  In its cosmetic use, Botox® treatment has the beneficial effect of relaxing facial muscles, improving the appearance of fine lines and preventing the development of wrinkles.

Due the way it is administered, Botox® is an incredibly precise treatment, allowing for highly targeted areas to be treated.  All treatments are tailored to the individual, and personal results may vary.

With our anti-wrinkle treatments you have the option of a numbing cream or a general anaesthetic, making the treatment process pain-free from start to finish.

Dr Tong will assess your medical history to ensure the most appropriate treatment is used to personalise the results according to your individual needs and goals. When having any treatment done at our clinic, you should feel certain that your safety and comfort is our main priority.

At Enhanced, we are focused on providing the most natural looking results to enhance your appearance.  We remain up to date with the latest industry advancements and technologies guaranteeing our patients receive the best possible care in a safe and sterile environment.

Conditions Treated with Dermal Filler

LIPS

Thin lips can be a source of concern for many, especially now, as many celebrities are favouring larger lips.  There are many factors that can influence the size of lips, the most obvious being genetics.

As we age, the definition of the lip border's becomes faded.  Fillers can enhance the vermillion border (the line where the pink of the lips meet the skin), the philtrum (the two columns of skin just below the nostril) and the cupid's bow. This is known as lip enhancement.

Lip Enhancement with Dermal Fillers is becoming one of the most popular treatment in non-surgical Aesthetic Enhancement.  Fillers can be manipulated in many ways to enhance or augment the lips.

Lip augmentation is where fillers are used to change the shape of the lip itself to enhance volume and structure to the lips. This may be desirable to many clients depending on their opinion and their aesthetic objectives.

Augmentation may require 2-3 sessions to ensure the best result.  As always with non-surgical aesthetics, slow changes are better than dramatic profound alterations, as it allows the soft tissue to settle and adapt to the enhancement.
